Sus performances con el Ensamble Nacional del Sur (ENS) han sido consideradas por la crítica especializada como "el evento musical más relevante de la última década en la Argentina", "el punto más alto de la producción experimental del continente" o "un hito histórico en la producción de vanguardia.” Su trabajo catalogado y publicado es crucial en el mapa de la música contemporánea latinoamericana y la performance. OSCAR EDELSTEIN: Composer, pianist and director, know for his originality and inventiveness, he is frequently considered as leading avant-garde music from Latin America. He has received commissions for modern operas and non-conventional symphonies from the Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación, Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Argentina, London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Swedish group of percussionist Kroumata and Basel Sinfonietta, amongst others. His performances with the Ensamble Nacional del Sur (ENS) have been considered by specialist critics as "the most important musical event of the last decades in Argentina”, “the highest point in the experimental production of the continent" and “historical landmark en avantgarde production.” His catalogue of work and publication is crucial in the map of contemporary Latin America music and performance.

It can help to imagine that you can drop all that tension and un-wanted thinking. "Drop it" - like you'd say to a stubborn dog or an angry friend. Soften your self-judgement. Throw away the perfectionism. Then - Keep your eyes open... Keep all your senses open. I truly believe that the key to productivity is to key into your creativity, your ability to change things around, your urge to look closer, deeper, further - with better attention and more love. That observation skill isn't only through the eyes - it's with every ounce of your being. Then is the moment that we can feel adequate to whatever task to hand in a world that is tugging at our sleeves in all directions. Then you'll know that every second of your life is the best it can be for now and that this Monday will be a good one. . |
